Beginning in February of 2011, the Southern Oregon High‐Tech Crimes Task Force will be equipped with a high‐speed fiber Internet connection, provided at no cost by Hunter Communications. This high‐speed fiber connection will greatly enhance the capabilities of the task force while performing undercover Internet investigations of various crimes including intellectual property crimes, fraudulent websites, scams, and identifying suspects exchanging images and videos of child sexual abuse.
